  • Fibres can be classified as Natural and synthetic fibres

Natural-fibres: Natural Fibres are the fibres that are obtained naturally from plants and animals. These Fibres are basic materials that look like hair and can be obtained directly from plants and animals.

The natural fibres are classified as:

  • Plant Fibre - Jute & Cotton

Examples: Nylon, Teflon, Rayon are few examples of synthetic fibres
