Solution

Dear student
Suppose the sum invested in 1st part be RSxSince the total amount to be invested is Rs2100,so the amount invested in 2nd part is Rs(2100-x)The formula for the interest is Interest=P×R×T100The interest on the first part of amount when it is invested at 9% for 5 years is given byx×9×5100=9x20The interest on the second part of amount when it is invested at 254% for 4 years is given by2100-x×254×4100=2100-x4According to qustion,9x20=2100-x436x=42000-20x56x=42000x=750So, the part lend out at 9% is Rs750
