Finding the probability that the number on the card is odd.

Let PE be the probability that the number on the card is odd.

Total number of cards=20

Number of possible outcomes=20

Outcomes with odd numbers=1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17 and 19

Number of favourable outcomes=10

We know that PE=NumberoffavourableoutcomesNumberofpossibleoutcomes

So, PE=1020

=12

Hence, probability that the number on the card is odd=12
