Solution

The correct option is C $$75$$ people
In the pie chart, $$50\%$$ immigration  is from other
$$\therefore$$ others $$=\dfrac{50}{100}\times 1500=750$$
Then immigration from Europe,Asia and Africa is $$1500-750=750$$
In $$750$$ immigration, immigration from Europe is $$50\%$$ of $$750$$
$$=\dfrac{50}{100}\times 750=375$$
$$20\%$$ of the immigration from Europe are from France
$$\therefore$$ Immigration from France $$=20\%$$ of $$375$$
$$\Rightarrow \dfrac{20}{100}\times 375=75$$ people
