Let Ram's age be x and son's age be y
Given, "
20 years ago, Ram was five times as old as his son
" =>x20=5(y20)=>x5y=80 --- (1)
Also, "
son will be 41 years old 16 years after"
=>y+16=41=>y=25


Substituting y=25 in the
equation (1), we get x5(25)=80=>x=45


Hence, Ram is 45 years old.
