Solution

The correct option is B Bacterium Helicobacter pylori causing peptic ulcer
Peptic ulcer disease (PUD) is a break in the inner lining of the stomach, the first part of the small intestine or sometimes in the lower oesophagus caused by Helicobacter pylori. Helicobacter pylori was identified in 1982 by two Australian scientists, Robin Warren and Barry J. Marshall as a causative factor for ulcers. In their original paper, Warren and Marshall contended that most gastric ulcers and gastritis were caused by colonization with this bacterium, not by stress or spicy food as had been assumed before. Marshall and Warren had recieved a nobel prize in 2005 for this discovery.
So, the correct answer is 'Bacterium Helicobacter pylori causing peptic ulcer'.
