Adding(i) and (ii), we get

Subtracting (i) from (ii), we get
$$\begin{gathered} 26x-26y=52 \\ \Rightarrow x-y=2.....\left(\mathrm{iv}\right) \end{gathered}$$
Adding (iii) and (iv), we get
$$\begin{gathered} 2x=6 \\ \Rightarrow x=3 \end{gathered}$$
Putting x = 3 in (iv), we get
