  1. Isotopes are be defined as the atoms of the same element which have same atomic number but different mass number.
  2. For example- Hydrogen, Deuterium and Tritium. All the isotopes have only one proton but different neutrons.
  3. Hydrogen or protonium (H11) has no neutrons.
  4. Deuterium (H12) has one neutron.
  5. Tritium (H13) has two neutrons.
