Solution

  • Solutions which have a pH range from 0 to 7 are termed as acids.
  • Solutions which have a pH range from 7 to 14 are termed as bases.
  • Solutions which have pH value 7 are termed as neutral solutions.
  • The more acidic the solution, lower will be its pH .
  • Basicity of a solution increases with increase in its pH value.
  • Here, the solution E which has a pH value of 9 will be weakly basic.
  • Hence, the solution E is weakly basic.
