Balanced equation is
HCl+AgNO3AgCl+HNO3

Molecular weight of AgCl = 143
Moles of AgCl present = 2.125143=0.01486
According to above reaction, number of moles AgCl = number of moles of HCl = 0.01486.
So, molarity of HCl solution = NumberofmolesofHClVolumeofsolutioninlitres=0.01486251000=0.01486×40=0.6M
So, correct answer is option B.
