Solution

The correct option is A 2.5
2H2O2(aq)2H2O(l)+O2(g)

From the above equation 2 moles of H2O2 produces 1 mole of O2

Given that 100 ml (1 cc = 1 ml) of X M solution of H2O2 produces 3 dm³ of O2
Also 1 mole of O2 occupies 24 dm³ of space

Thus, 1/8 moles of O2 will occupy 3 dm³ of space

Therefore the moles of H2O2=2×1/8=1/4=0.25

100 mL moles of H2O2 = 0.25

1000 mL moles of H2O2 = 2.5

Therefore, the molarity of H2O2 = 2.5 M

Hence, x=2.5
