3 acid solution A,B and C have pH=0,3 and 5 which solutions have higher concentration of h+ ion. Which solution has lower concentration h+ions (b) how concentrate sulpuric acid can be diluted describe the process.

Dear Student,

a) Solution which is formed by the solution having pH 3 contain more H+ ions. As we know less will be the pH more will be the concentration of H+ in the solution and vice a versa. Solution with pH 5 contain less H+ ions.

b) Any acid can be diluted by taking water in a test tube or beaker and then adding acid slowly to it drop by drop by continuous stirring.
Acid is added drop by drop and slowly because this dilution process is highly exothermic process and if you add all the acid directly, the solution will bump out due to high energy released and harm you.
