Antoine Lavoisier : He conducted experiments to know about the nature of combustion.
Robert Boyle : He discovered that how do gases behave.
Joseph Priestley : He prepared oxygen (O2) by heating red mercuric oxide (HgO) with infrared rays from Sun and he proved that air was not an element.
