Solution

The correct option is D 1/3
nf for FeSO4=1 as FeFe+3
nf for KMnO4 in acidic medium is =5
Mn+7Mn+2
n×nf(FeSO4)=n×nf(KMnO4)
3×1=a×5
a=65
Similarly,
for FeC2O4, Fe+2Fe+3, nf=1
C2O24CO2
2C+3C+4 nf=2
Total nf=1+2=3
n×nf(FeC2O4)=n×nf(KMnO4)
3×3=b×5
b=95
ab=35×59=13 .
