The total number of outcomes you would be tempted to assume would be 6 – ABC , ACB , BAC , BCA , CAB , CBA
But let us draw the figure for arrangement ABC and try to find out the real answer.
Since they are seated in circular fashion , order does not matter i.e ABC is same as BCA is same as CAB
And ACB is same as CBA which is same as BAC . So total number of outcomes is 2.
