=) (4/11)^x-1 = (4/11)^-(x-5)

=) (4/11)^x-1 = (4/11)^5-x

On comparing both sides,
Since the base is same,
=) x-1 = 5-x

=) x+x = 5+1

=) 2x = 6

=) x = 6/2

=) x = 3

Hence, the value of x is 3.
