Dear Student,
The vascular tissue is present in the petiole and tender stem of the plant.
Vascular tissues are the specialized tissues of vascular plants that perform conducting function inside plant body. These tissues have mainly transport function. They transport water, nutrient, minerals etc from one part of plant body to other.
They are mainly of two types: Xylem and Phloem.
Xylem transports water and minerals from the roots to aerial parts of the plant and phloem transports food and organic nutrients such as sugar and amino acids from leaves to storage organs and growing parts of the plant.
