4. Is it possible that force is acting on a body but still work done is zero? Explain.

when we are applying force and the displacement is zero, then the work done is zero. this a case when frictional force comes into the frame which opposes our applied force. when our applied force is lesser to overcome the frictional force then the object does not moves , the displacement is zero & work done is zero.
