$\therefore \frac{x}{40}=\frac{2}{8}=\frac{200}{2000}\therefore \frac{x}{40}=\frac{2}{8}\times \frac{200}{2000}⟹x=40\times \frac{2}{8}\times \frac{200}{2000}=1$

So 1 man will earn Rs200 in 2 days.
