Inital number of marbles
in the boxes = 445
Number of marbles added = 41

∴ Total number of marbles in the boxes = 445 + 41 = 486

Number of boxes = 6

Number of marbles in each box
= 486 ÷ 6

Let us divide the numbers using place value.

So, at first, we write the expanded form of the dividend 486.


Let's divide each of these places with the divisor 6.

After division by place value, we add all the partial quotients to get the final answer.


Here the final quotient is 81.


Hence, there will be 81 marbles in each box.
