Question
45.
A gas fills its container completely. Why?

Solution
In gases, the intermolecular force of attraction between the particles is least as compared to solid and liquid.
Due to the negligible intermolecular force of attraction, gaseous particles have the highest energy, that's why they are in random motion.
So whenever gases are provided with available space, they move around and fill the complete space.
Thus, the gas tends to fill the container in which it is kept.
