Question

4z2 + 5 = 3 z

Open in App
Solution

Given: 4z2 + 5 = 3 z
On subtracting 3 z from both sides, we get:
4z2 + 5 – 3 z = 3 z – 3 z
=> 4z23z + 5 = 0
Thus, the standardised form of the given quadratic equation is 4z23z + 5 = 0.
On comparing this equation with az2 + bz + c = 0 in variable z , we get:
a = 4, b = –3 and c = 5
