Let A(5,2),B(6,4) and C(7,2) are the vertices of triangle ABC
Distance between the points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) is (x1x2)2+(y1y2)2

Now,
AB=(56)2+(24)2=1+36=37

BC=(67)2+(4+2)2=1+36=37

AC=(57)2+(2+2)2=4=2

AB=BC
so ABC is an isosceles triangle.
