Let present age of Sumit’s sister =y
5 years ago, age of Sumit =x5

Given, (x5)=3(y5)(1)
And x=2y(2)
Put (2) in (1)
2y5=3y15
y=155=10
x=2y=20
Sumit’s present age is 20 years.
