Solution

The correct option is A 0.07 M
Let, the molarity of Mg(OH2) solution be: x M
So, n1×M1×V1=n2×M2×V2
where, n1=nfactor of Mg(OH)2=2
M1=molarity of Mg(OH)2=x M
V1=volume of Mg(OH)2=50 mL
n2=nfactor of HCl=1
M2=molarity of HCl=0.1 M
V2=volume of HCl=70 mL
2×x×50=1×0.1×70
x=7100=0.07
The molarity of Mg(OH2) solution = 0.07 M
