The number of students who failed in S or M will be same as the number of students who passed only in E.
or
Total students who failed in S or M
= Total students – Total students who passed in S or M
Total students who passed in S or M
= 95 + 27 + 35 + 63 + 105 + 55
= 380
Thus,
Total students who failed in S or M
= 500 – 380 = 120
