Open in App
Solution

Given: 5x – 2y = 3
Slope of the line = -coefficient of x coefficient of y=-5-2=52

For finding the intercept of y-axis, we put x = 0 in the given equation 5x – 2y = 3.
i.e., 5(0) – 2y = 3
⇒ –2y = 3
⇒ y = -32
∴ y-intercept = -32
