Total number of oranges = 75
Number of men = 14
To find the number of oranges each man will get we need to divide 75 oranges among 14 men. [ 1 marks ]

For this we will use the method of repeated subtraction

75 - 14 = 61
61 - 14 = 47
47 - 14 = 33
33 - 14 = 19
19 - 14 = 5 [ 2 marks ]

Since it is completed in 5 steps, therefore each man will get 5 oranges.
Also, we can see, 5 oranges are remaining, and these are leftover oranges. [ 1 marks ]
