Aligning both the numbers according to Place value (starting from the right):

For ones place, we can't subtract 8 ones from 3 ones, as 8 > 3. Thus, we borrow 1 tens from the 5.

1 tens = 10 ones.
Now, at the ones place, we first add 10+3=13 ones. Subtracting 8 from 13 , we get 5.

Now,for Tens place, we are left with 4 . Again, we can't subtract 8 tens from 4 tens, as 8 > 4. Thus, we borrow 1 hundred from the 7.
Subtracting 8 tens from 14 tens, we get 6 tens.

Now, for hundreds place 63=3 hundreds
