Mixture:

If two or more substances (elements or compounds or both) are mixed together in any proportion, such that they do not undergo any chemical change, but retain their individual properties, then the resulting mass is called a mixture.

  • A salt-water mixture, a sugar-water mixture, air, lemonade, soft drink water, and so on. A typical example is a salt-water solution.
