Hydrogen reacts with oxygen as follows:
2H2+O22H2O

Number of moles of O2=832=0.25 mol

As 2 mol of H2 react with 1 mol of O2 to form 2 mol of H2O.
So, 0.25 mol of O2 will form = 21×0.25=0.5 mol of H2O
Weight of H2O formed = Moles × Molar mass
=0.5 mol×18 g/mol=9 g H2O
