Solution

Step-1: Given Information

There were as many students in the row as there were rows in the lecture room

Let the number of rows in the lecture room = n

Number of students seated in each row = n

Step-2: Find the number of students in the one row

Numberofrowsinthelectureroom×Numberofstudentsseatedineachrow=Totalnumberofstudents

n×n=8649

n2=8649

n=8649( applying square root on both sides )

n=93 ( On solving 8649we get 93)

Hence, the number of students in each row is n=93
