The two solutions are isotonic means both the solutions have same osmotic pressure.
For, 1.2% solution of NaCl, osmotic pressure, π1=iCRT=i1.258.5VRT
For, 72% solution of glucose, osmotic pressure,
π2=CRT=7.2180VRT
According to the question,
π1=π2
i1.258.5VRT=7.2180VRT
i=7.2×58.5180×1.2=1.95
