Molarity of $H_{2} S O_{4} = \frac{weight of H_{2} S O_{4} in 1L solution}{molecular weight of H_{2} S O_{4}}$
Given: $86$ % $H_{2} S O_{4}$
$∴$ Weight of $H_{2} S O_{4}$ per litre= $86$ % $\times D e n s i t y \times 1000$
$= \frac{86}{100} \times 1.787 \times 1000$
$= 1536.82 g$
Molecular weight of $H_{2} S O_{4} = 98$
Hence molarity= $\frac{1536.82}{98} = 15.68 M$
