The correct option is C 99 Ω
Range =ΔV=i×Rg

1=iRg

Here, Rg is the resistance of the voltmeter, i.e. 1 Ω.

i=1 A

We have to increase range to 100 V.

So, let's assume that we have to connect an additional series resistor of resistance R.


Then,

100=i×(Rg+R)

100=1×(1+R)

R=99 Ω

Hence, option (C) is the correct answer.
