M=nsolutevolume of solution (mL)×1000
M=2×1000volume of solution (mL).........…(i)
Now, density is given by:
Density=mass of solutionvolume of solution
Volume of solution=1000g1.025 g/mL=975.61 mL
Putting the value of volume in eq (i) we get,
Molarity(M)=2×1000975.61=2.05
Therefore, the molarity of the given solution is 2.05 M
