a 100W,250V bulb and a 200W,250V bulb are connected in series and the combination are connected in series and the combination is connecgted across a supply voltage of 230V. then
i)100W bulb glows dimmer
ii)200Wbulb glows dimmer
iii)the current through 100W bulb is more
iv)the current through 200W bulb is more

Solution

Since the bulbs are connected in series the current through the bulbs will be same. Now since the first bulb has less power, it will have more resistance and the second bulb has less power so will have less resistance. So if the now if constant current is passing the one that has more resistance will glow more, so the first bulb will glow more.
