By using Pythagoras Theorem,

${13}^2={12}^2+x^2$

$\Rightarrow 169=144+x^2$

$\Rightarrow 169-144=x^2$

$\Rightarrow 25=x^2$

$\sqrt{25}={\sqrt{x}}^2$

$\therefore x=5$ m
