We know that velocity of centre of mass is given as
→vcm=m1→v1+m2→v2m1+m2⇒2×3^i+3×2^i5=125^i
→vcm==2.4^ims−1
Hence the velocity of centre of mass at the instant will be 2.4ms−1 along x-axis
