Given: Acceleration of the body, a=8^i m/s2
F1=(30^i+16^j)N
F2=(12^i+8^j)N
Net force acting on the object F=ma=2×(8)^i=(16^i)
Let the third force be F3=x^i+y^jF1+F2+F3=F=(16 N)^i
30^i+16^j12^i+8^j+x^i+y^j=16^i
(3012+x)^i+(16+8+y)^j=16^i
18+x=16 and 24+y=0
x=34 and y=24
The third force will be F3=(34^i24^j)N
