A $20 Ω$ resistor, $1.5$ H inductor and $35 μ F$ capacitors are connected in series with $200$ V, $50$ Hz ac supply. Calculate the impedance of the circuit and also find the current through the circuit?

Impedence equal to resistance
$z = R ϕ = 0^{o}$
$z = 20 Ω$
$I_{v} = \frac{E_{v}}{Z} = \frac{200}{20} = 10 A$
Average power transferred
$P = E_{v} I_{v} cos θ^{o}$
$200 \times 20 \times 1$
$= 200 w a t t$
