The correct option is A 2.158Ω
At 970 rpm, back emf,
Eb=2200.05×100=215V

At 1000 rpm, back emf, Eb=1000970×215=221.65V

For plugging operation
RB+Ra=E+VIa(b)=221.65+220200=2.21Ω

The external resistance,
RB=2.210.05=2.158Ω
