Step 1: Here first we find the area of the park .

Length of the park $=125\text{m}$

Breadth of the park $=65\text{m}$

Area of the park $=\text{length ×breadth}$

$=125\times 65=8125{\text{m}}^2$

Step 2: Now we find the area of the park including the path

Here, new length of the park including path $=125+3+3=131\text{m}$

and Breadth of the park including path $=65+3+3=71\text{m}$

Area of the park including path $=\text{length×breadth}$

$=131\times 71=9301{\text{m}}^2$

Step 3: Now area of the path $=\text{area of the park including path-area of the park}$

$=9301-8125=1176{\text{m}}^2$

Hence area of the path is $1176{\text{m}}^2$
