Finding area of the path : For this first we find the area of the park and then we find the area of the park including path . For finding the area of the path we subtract the area of the park from the area of the park including path .

Step 1: Here first we find the area of the park .

Length of the park =125m

Breadth of the park =65m

Area of the park =length×breadth

=125×65=8125m2

Step 2: Now we find the area of the park including the path

Here, new length of the park including path =125+3+3=131m

and Breadth of the park including path =65+3+3=71m

Area of the park including path =length×breadth

=131×71=9301m2

Step 3: Now area of the path =areaoftheparkincludingpath-areaofthepark

=9301-8125=1176m2

Hence area of the path is 1176m2
