The correct option is A 7 cm, 70 mm
As in the case of projector,m=IO=vu
So, 20×100cm3.5cm=40×100u
u=7cmi.e., the film is at a distance of 7cm in front of the projection lens.
And from the lens formula we have,
1f=1v1u
1f=1400017
f=7cm=70mm [as 14000<<17]
i.e., focal length of projection lens is 70mm.
