A 5g mixture of SO2 and O2 gases is reacted to form SO3 gas. What should be the mass ratio of SO2 and O2 gases in mixture to obtain maximum amount of SO3 gas.

2SO2+O2SO3
Molar mass of SO3=80
Molar mass of O2=32
So 1 gram SO3 react with 32/80m gram of oxygen
Therefore 5 gram SO3 react with 32/80×80=2 gram oxygen
So Their mass ratio is SO3O2=53
