Given:
Length of train, L = 50 m
Time taken to cross the pole, T = 10 s
Length of platform, D = 250 m

Speed of train = LT = 50 m10 s = 5 m s1

Now, distance to be covered by the train = Length of platform + Length of the train.
D = 250 m + 50 m
D = 300 m
t = Dt
t = 300 m5 s = 60 s

Hence, the train will take 60 s to cross the 250 m platform.
