Fnet = Upthrust - Weight of the rocket

When gas is ejected, the total mass of the rocket, m decreases. Let the amount of gas ejected per second be dmdt.
Then Upthrust force =ddt(mv)=dmdtv where v is the exhaust speed.

Therefore, Fnet=dmdtvmg=ma
dmdt×8005000×10=5000×20
dmdt=187.5 kg/s
