Formula Used: f=μN
Given: m=60 kg,μs=0.5,μk=0.4,
Limiting friction=μs=0.5(60g)=300 N
Kinetic friction=μk=0.4(60g)=240 N
Formula Used: a=Fnetm
F=300 N
As force is applied just to balance static friction and once block started moving applied force remained the same and kinetic friction started acting on it
Hence, acceleration
a=(300240)60=1m/s2
