Given,
m=7500kg, v=800m/s
a=10 m/l2,
we know,
Thrust=vdmdt;
v=exhaust speed
m=amount of gas ejected
The upward force can also be found as,
F=m(a+g);
a=acceleration of rocket
g=acceleration due to gravity
=9.8m/s2
Thrust =F
vdmdt=m(a+g) .........(1)
Substituting the given values in equation (1), we get
800×dmdt=7500×(10+9.8)
dmdt=185.625kg/s
But, if we take g=10m/s
We get dmdt=187.5 kg/s
The amount of gas ejected for providing thrust
dmdt=187.5 kg/s.
